We welcome you to Total Image Hair Salon URI
Mask are a must to have any services at the salon.
As Covid-19 rapidly changes, so do the rules. We have all the current guidelines in place, and we are ready to serve you.
The salon has taken several measures in accordance with the RIDOH and CDC guidelines. We have an active sanitation and disinfecting process in place.
We have sanitizing stations at both entrances. We ask you to sanitize your hands and also use our safe cell phone cleaner. Spray the cleaner on the paper towel and clean your cell.
Appointments are preferred but due to the location of the salon if a client walks in or walks over from another building on campus, please stop at our doorway.
We may be able to service you we upon walking in or you can make an appointment to come back that day or another day. If the salon is not at the full capacity you will be able to wait in our waiting area inside the salon. Or you can wait right outside of the salon in the seating area, or visit any other stores or food establishments located in the Memorial Union.
We will be taking temperatures and asking you a series of screening questions before you enter the salon.
The questions we will be asking you are:
-have you had a cough or sore throat?
-have you had a fever?
-do you have shortness of breath?
-do you have loss of taste or smell?
-have you been in contact with anyone exhibiting these symptoms in the last 14 days?
-have you traveled out of the state on a plane or out of the country in the last 14 days?
If you have answered yes, or are experiencing symptoms, we will be happy to reschedule you. We cannot risk compromising our clients and staff.
Please limit personal care items you may bring into the salon. We ask you to not bring in any food; a beverage with a tightly closed lid is fine.
Again Masks are a must. I do apologize to anyone who is not able to wear a mask for health reasons, but at this time I am requiring them at the salon for your service.
If you do not have a mask, we can provide one for you for a small fee of $2.00 per mask. We are sorry that we are asking you to pay for one but as you know all PPE has been hard to find and is very pricey.
Our stations are 6 feet apart but we are going the extra mile to ensure even more safety by adding Plexi glass to separate our stations. We have also added a plexi glass protective sneeze guard at our checkout area.
There will be thorough sanitation of stations before and after each client. We will be using a new freshly washed sanitized cape or disposable capes for each client.
All surfaces within the salon will be cleaned throughout the day and a thorough disinfection process will be conducted each morning and evening.
All magazines, books and rugs have been removed from the salon.
Our staff will have their temperature taken daily, provide updates on any changes in their health, and will be wearing masks or a face shield at all times.
We will be happy to offer early morning or first appointments to any of our older clients or compromised clients to keep you safe. We will insure that you and your stylist are the only ones present in the salon during your service.
If you feel like you may be sick, please we ask you to reschedule your appointment!
We also ask that no handshakes, hugs or any unnecessary touching takes place at this time… but a cute little hello dance is always welcome!
Practicing social distancing at all times is imperative.
If you would like to purchase any products, your stylist will get it for you from our product shelf.
These policies will change as we go forward and we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you.
Please let us know if there is anything that makes you uncomfortable and we will try to accommodate you as much as we can.
You matter greatly to us and we will do whatever we can to make this “new normal” period work for all of us.
